(The portrait of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, father of modern Turkey)
Why Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Portrait? I asked, when I was politely offered by Turkish hosts to realize a mosaic art of the symbol of Modern Turkey. I need to know three main reasons why.
First, they told me, he was a great leader.
Second, he was the father of the spiritual modern Turkey, totally opposed to the INDUSTRIAL SICKNESS.
Third, he was a Visionary.
Three reasons, three arguments enough to motivate me to realize my newest Guinness record.
First, my mosaic dimensions had to be as big as the portrait of the man it was featuring.
Second, it had to be modern (that's why I chose industrial screws as best possible representation of modernity).
Third, Visionary (realized through the light that shines in his vision at the end of the work).
